Since 2005, we have been supporting primary & secondary care focusing on the following services. HDC is an active health sector partner and universal implementing partner in most of the agencies supporting health sector.  We manage over  12 health facilities including Elwak District Hospital,  Bardhera District Hospital , Dollow MCH , Burdhubo MCH, Ali Ato MCH, Dhamasa MCH, , Geriley MCH, Bardhera MCH, Bulahawa MCH, Geriley MCH, Husqurun MCH. We have also been managing Baidoa ART and Banadir ART Centre through Global fund.

1. OPD services
2. Family planning promotion and integrated method mix counseling and service delivery;
3. Health Education on FGM/C, GBV, Early / forced marriage, teenage pregnancy, Girl child education etc
4. Identification and referral of obstetric fistula cases for surgical management and social reintegration into the community;
5. Screening for gynecological cancers (breast and cervical cancer), Sexually Transmitted Infections and HIV Testing and Counseling;
6. Focused Antenatal Care (including complete physical examination of the mother and her foetus, systematic screening for syphilis, urine analysis; hemoglobin as well as establishment of delivery plan including referrals when appropriate);
7. Clinical management of Rape and provision of psychosocial support; and
8. Capacity building of health personnel especially on RH services.
9. Provide RH services through referral linkages for RH services.
